Candidates with Health Problems Get Coordinated for the Baccalaureate Exams

ODDOR MEANCHEY-MONDULKIRI: On the morning of the first day of the 2022 Baccalaureate Exams, each examination center was busy with students taking their exams as planned, with the close participation of Observers of the Anti-Corruption Unit and coordination by officers of the Union Youth Federations of Cambodia, law enforcement forces and other relevant departments.

There are at least two candidates with health problems who have been provided with special examination conditions, coordinated and approved by the president of each examination center.

One male candidate in Mondulkiri province taking the exam at Hun Sen High School, was allowed by the district director to take the exam in a separate room after he had just undergone bowel surgery. Separately, in Oddar Meanchey province, there was also one female candidate who was allowed by the center director to take the exam in a separate room after finding out that she had tested positive for Covid-19.

There were also other female candidates who exhibited minor health problems that were examined and mediated by the medical teams.

The national high school Baccalaureate exam is being held from 5-6 December 2022 with more than 120,000 candidates registered.
